George Chuvalo is one of the most inspiring figures in Canadian history. Known for his legendary boxing career and his unmatched resilience, George faced unimaginable personal tragedy with strength and purpose. Instead of giving up, he turned his pain into power—travelling the world to speak with youth about perseverance, choices, and the importance of rising above.
This scholarship, valued up to $1000, is awarded to a youth who embodies that same strength—someone who faces challenges head on and works to better themselves and those around them.
